Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Her most famous role was in the role of Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Performance in Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre through Northwestern University. Anna began her journey in Chicago performing in stage roles for many years. After that, she relocated to Hollywood and began acting in movies and television shows. Anna was chosen to play Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode series Down the Shore. Following her appearance as a Guest on several TV shows and Films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's, she was cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. Skyler played Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully is the Deadwood film and a few other films also featured her. Gunn was also on the stage for David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. in 2022 Gunn also participated in an audio-play series called "Numbered days". Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their conflicted relationship and their eventual break up echoes final years in Walter White's story.
