Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who is leaving a mark on the small screen. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. The family moved to Texas to pursue the career of an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on different roles as an actor in local independent film as well as international commercials. Despite having small parts, De La Garza rapidly realized the passion she had for performing. She then moved into New York in 2001 and she got her first acting job as Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. During early 2000s the small part she played was in JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was in the 2004 short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her best-known role was in Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared 85 times. Later, she starred in The Law & Order: LA film, a short-lived sequel. De La Garza has received numerous nominations for this character, such as Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. The actress was awarded an Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments further. She played Marisol Deko, as well as the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio. Milano. Her younger twin brother Cory has a ten year old brother who is younger than her. She was raised in a family that was conservative and very religious. Milano began her profession at the age of seven, when her babysitter took her along to a stage audition. Her audition was in the top 1,000 applicants. Milano was chosen as one of just four girls. Milano performed in television advertisements and on off-Broadway plays, among them the very first American musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
